Getting here
Cleves and the hotel share a road. US-50 runs west out of Cleves, crosses the Great Miami River and passes through Elizabethtown before entering Indiana at the state line. A couple of miles later it becomes East Eads Parkway, and the hotel sits right on it. No interstate is needed, and the drive takes about 12 minutes.
If you are coming from the north end of Miami Township, you can also hop on I-275 and come down to exit 16 for US-50, which leaves you about 2 miles from our lot. Most of the time, though, US-50 is the simpler choice, with only a few lights between the village and our parking lot.

Cleves is a small village on the western edge of Hamilton County, along the Great Miami River just before it meets the Ohio. It is quiet and residential, and lodging inside the village is limited, so visitors coming for a funeral, a wedding, a reunion or a long holiday weekend often look just across the state line. With us, it is one road back and forth.
US-50 makes the trip simple enough that guests sometimes forget they are changing states. It also means you are 12 minutes from Cleves and five minutes from Hollywood Casino, so a family weekend in Miami Township can end with dinner on the Lawrenceburg riverfront.
Couples coming back to the area for an anniversary sometimes skip the spare room altogether and book our King Whirlpool Suite, which has a king bed and an in-room jetted tub. There are only four on the property, so reserve early for weekends.
Taylor High School, on Cooper Road in Cleves, is the only high school in the Three Rivers Local School District, which serves all of Miami Township, including Cleves and North Bend. Yellow Jackets games, graduations and alumni weekends are regular reasons relatives come to town.
Two of the area's better-known stops are right next door in North Bend. The William Henry Harrison Tomb State Memorial marks the burial place of the ninth president on a hilltop above the Ohio River, and Shawnee Lookout Park, about 15 minutes from the hotel, has hiking trails, river overlooks, prehistoric earthworks and paved loop trails on the former golf course.
The Great Miami River bends past Cleves just before reaching the Ohio, and the farm fields along that stretch of US-50 give the drive between the village and the hotel a rural feel. It is a pleasant ride at sunset, especially in late summer.
Because the drive is short, the hotel works well for families attending a service or celebration in Cleves who want to come back mid-afternoon to rest before an evening event. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM; if you need the room earlier, call the front desk to ask about availability.
Plan around the rivers. US-50 runs through low ground near the Great Miami crossing and Elizabethtown, and high water in spring can affect that stretch. If local reports mention flooding, use I-275 to exit 16 as your backup route.
